Diving In: Signing Up for Social Media and Building a Brand

Moving Pieces

There are so many moving parts, and every step teaches me something new while I work on staying confident. Right now, I am focused on building an online presence for The CMC Workshop, which means getting intentional about how I show up on social media. It feels like there is always something else to learn or adjust, but I am taking it one steady step at a time.

Choosing Platforms and Securing My Space

I have been signing up for platforms, locking in my username @thecmcworkshop, and trying to secure my space in a way that feels authentic and cohesive. Do I need to be on every platform? Or is it enough to start small and focus on the ones that make sense for the community I want to build? These are the questions I am navigating.

Defining My Brand Identity

Choosing a brand identity is another piece of the puzzle. Colors, fonts, and tone all matter, but what is most important to me is that everything I put out there reflects the spirit of collaboration, creativity, and learning that I want The CMC Workshop to embody.

Embracing the Process

This process is not just about getting it right. It is about experimenting, making decisions, and learning as I go. Some things might feel awkward at first and that is okay. I’ve already reworked aspects of the brand. I am embracing the idea that building a brand is iterative, just like any creative project.

What’s Next

In the coming weeks, I will share more about which platforms I chose, why I chose them, and how I am translating the energy of CMC Workshop into a digital presence. For now, the first step is simply showing up, clicking sign up, and committing to the process.
